01. Why Group Decisions Fail
The 'I don't care, you pick' cycle is the #1 killer of group plans. Everyone defers, nobody commits, and the plan dies in a group chat. Squad Voting breaks this cycle by giving everyone a private, low-friction way to express their real preference — no social pressure, no negotiation fatigue.

02. How a Voting Session Works
Any jar admin can start a session. The system shortlists ideas, sends push notifications to all members, and displays a live presence indicator showing who's joined. Each member votes independently, and when the last vote lands, the 'Winner Reveal' animation plays on every screen simultaneously — turning a mundane decision into a shared moment of excitement.

03. Real-Time Presence & Live Results
See who's online and who's voted with live presence indicators. Typing indicators in Plan Chat let you coordinate while the session is active. After the reveal, jump straight into planning logistics — no app switching required.

04. Smart Tie-Breaking
Perfect ties are handled gracefully. Depending on your jar settings, the system either randomly selects from the tied options or launches an instant runoff round — a sudden-death vote between just the top contenders. Either way, you leave with a clear winner in seconds.

Common Questions
How does Squad Voting work?
An admin starts a voting session from any jar with 3+ members. Everyone receives a real-time notification, joins the session, and votes on their preferred activity. When all votes are in, the winner is revealed to everyone simultaneously.
What happens if there's a tie?
The system handles ties automatically — it either picks a random winner from the top votes or triggers an instant runoff round to narrow down the choice.
Can I vote for my own idea?
No — to keep things fair, you can't vote for ideas you submitted. If a round only contains your ideas, you'll be placed on the 'Sidelines' where you can watch the results in real time.
How many people do I need for Squad Voting?
You need at least 3 active members in your jar. With only 2 members, the system automatically uses Random Spin mode instead.
