Ranked Choice Voting

A system where voters rank candidates by preference. If no one wins a majority, the lowest-ranked option is eliminated and votes are transferred.

Why use it?

  • Fairer for large elections with many candidates.
  • Reduces the 'spoiler effect' in politics.
  • Allows expression of backup preferences.

Why it fails

  • Overkill for choosing a pizza topping.
  • Requires everyone to fully understand the rules.
  • Takes too long to tally for a quick decision.

Our Verdict

"Essential for democracy, exhausting for date night. Use Squad Mode instead."
